Pros: Price, 4X optical zoom, full manual controls, very good photo quality, and faster operation
Cons: Some minor chromatic aberration (purple fringing) and noisy ISO 400 images
The Bottom Line: The Canon Powershot A510 is that rarest of all rare beasts, an upgrade that offers genuine improvements with no increase in price.

Pros: Excellent optics for low price and compact size, uses 2 AA batteries, features, 4x zoom
Cons: Flash creates shadow in corner in Macro mode and overexposes unless you use ISO50/f8

Pros: Small size, outstanding picture quality, great battery life w/ NIMH batteries, great build quality
Cons: EXTREMELY Slow flash cycle
The Bottom Line: Buy it! Best picture/build quality and overall features of any compact camera on the market, especially for the price. Outperforms most larger and more expensive cameras.
