The dX woofers have extra-rigid polymer/graphite cones with elastomer rubberized plastic surrounds for smooth response and long life. Polk's patented Dynamic Balance technology eliminates any resonance in the speaker cone, resulting in an exceptionally accurate, uncolored sound. The dX subwoofers feature 40-ounce Strontium Ferrite magnets and extra long vented voice coils for extreme reliability and monster bass hits. 1-year warranty. DX12 12 Subwoofer power range: 50-400 watts RMS peak power 800 watts frequency range 20-200 Hz SPL 87 dB top mount depth 5-5/16 sealed box volume: 0.88 cubic feet for type 1 and type 4 Q-Logic boxes
