Polar isn't "the end all, be all" of monitors anymore

The Bottom Line: Know what you want to do with your monitor and look at several different manufacturers before you buy. Polar isn't the only one that does its stuff well anymore.

The Bottom Line: Good value and recommended if it's your first heart rate monitor, especially if a backlight is important.
Review: My primary purpose for getting a Heart Rate Monitor was for checking my rate while "spinning" at the gym. I also ride outdoors and use my monitor there as well.
