Pros: Great quality recordings and it's awesome to be able to pause Live TV.
Cons: Lots of Glitches
The Bottom Line: For a beginner it's a great deal, but if you are into technical things (I'm not) then I'm sure you would want something a bit better.

Pros: DVR technology is nice convenience.. when it works
Cons: Too many problems; unreliable operation
The Bottom Line: The DirecTV R15 DVR is the worst electronic equipment I've ever owned period.

Worst product Ive ever Used.

Pros: Flashing blue light is pretty.
Cons: Bugs and glitches galore. Poor interface and usability.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This is not hyperbole. Honestly, this is the worst piece of electronics Ive ever owned. Because of the contracts involved there is no way to return it either, avoid this at all costs.

The bugs are too numerous to list, and new ones...
