In the 35mm format the ideal definition of a "standard" lens is 43mm, the distance from the corner to corner on a frame of 35mm film. The 43mm f/1.9 Limited Edition is finished in a beautiful satin chrome, and has robust construction for many years of use. Images are sharp and contrasty thanks to Pentaxs Super Multi Coating process, which results in a high retention of light. An incredibly lightweight lens with wonderful results. Minimize

Pentax's FA43: One of the nicest lenses you could own.

Pros: Wonderful rendering. Fantastic build quality. Compact, light, and a pleasure to use.

Cons: Lens cap can only be mounted when hood is attached.

The Bottom Line: If you own a Pentax camera, you should own this lens. Glass like this is why we buy Pentax.
