Preview your footage through the 2.7" LCD screen, then transfer images to a PC or digital camera through a USB port or SD slot. Your new DVDs will work in almost any DVD-RAM, DVD-R or DVD-RW player, so you can share those great moments as soon as they're recorded.

The Bottom Line: This DVD camcorder incorporates 3 CCD sensors and features excellent video quality for a consumer-grade camcorder.
Review: The Panasonic VDR-D300 "Palmcorder" is a compact 3CCD camcorder that records videos to mini DVDs: 3" (8 cm) DVD-RAM, DVD-RW and DVD-R. (Note that it cannot use the "plus" version of DVD+R/RW.) Thanks to the three separate 1/6" CCD image sensors...

Reliable professional DVD-R camera

The Bottom Line: If you need pro results, go with the best.
Review: After having a bad experience with a lesser brand of DVD-R camera, I decided to go with a long established brand and ended up purchasing the Panasonic VDR-D300 for our Toastmasters club. We've been very happy with it, but it wasn't exactly cheap...
