Prices come down for high reliability DVD-RAM discs

Pros: Cheaper than HD More Reliable than DVDRW and hard drive. Access is random-access

Cons: Slower than HD More expensive than DVD-RW short term.

The Bottom Line: The discs worked well, the reading speed was faster than expected and the erasing files appeared to be instantaneous. I cam make updates to data quickly and conveniently.

Review: I have been using DVD-RW discs for my backups for about a year and have been very disappointed at how many of them end up in the trash. DVD-RAMs are said to be at least ten times more reliable as to the number of rewrites available and are used for ...
