Pros: sharpens to a fine point, stops sharpening when it is sharp, collects shavings.
Cons: can sometimes jam if too much pressure is applied to the pencil.

This sharpener is a good sharpener that can actually save money by not over sharpening the pencil.

Cons: Not portable, has to be plugged into a wall.
