REOCCURRING BUGS...BUYER BEWARE !!!

Pros: Loaded with features.
Cons: Unreliable when transferring home videos to DVD.
The Bottom Line: Buyer Beware. Reoccurring bugs while transferring home video tapes to DVD.

To quality DVD/VCR recording

Pros: Quality recording equipment
Cons: Weak in the JPEG picture area.
The Bottom Line: If you can avoid the still picture functions you will have an excellent recorder/player for VCR and DVD.

From what I can see there is not much to choose from in this class of equipment. This DVD/VCR has some good and bad points.

The remote control does not have a TV control code...

Really disappointing.

Pros: Nice to have just one machine under the TV.
Cons: Difficult to program. DVD section failed after only 15 months.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I bought it at Sam's Club about 15 months ago for $300. At the time it was the best DVD recorder / VHS on the market. Programming it was never easy. Now it doesn't work because it can't read DVDs. The self-test at power up fails. There seem to be a...
