The Bottom Line: Right now this or the larger model are the only Digital Recorders to buy because of the Hard Drive. It represents value, and quality. The learning curve is worth it.

The Bottom Line: A good buy, but it lacks some important things. The hard disk recorder adds to the versatility of the DVD recorder, but some potentially helpful options are missing.
