The Bottom Line: Some professionals look down on people who buy prosumers. This camera can well compete with SLRs.
Review: I fell in love with the idea of the advertised 21.4x optical zoom long before I even saw the camera. When 12x optical zoom is as far as you can get with a prosumer camera today, 21.4x optical zoom sounds like heaven.
