Better than a Toy Telescope, But It's still a bit Toy-like

Pros: Compact, lighter weight, reasonable performance.
Cons: Cost, large for a child to move, gets outgrown.
The Bottom Line: The XT4.5 is a good quality telescope for a children's scope, but its small size means lots of bending over for adults, and it will be outgrown.
Review: The Orion XT4.5, is, by Orion's own description, a telescope for kids. But since Orion has made their name by providing real telescopes, this isn't just a toy which looks like a telescope and has very little capability; it's a real telescope. But to ...
