The Onkyo HT-SR800 7.1 home theater system provides cutting edge surround sound performance while uniting all your high definition components through one powerful receiver. An HDMI pass through allows you to connect two digital sources simultaneously and each port is 1080p compatible to accommodate your premium high definition content. The HT-SR800 utilizes Audyssey 2EQ auto room calibration that detects the dimensions of your living room and speaker placement and makes all the necessary adjustments for optimal audio performance.

Do my ears deceive me?

The Bottom Line: Excellent value for the money. Should meet most people's needs.
Review: Sound is a very important part of the home theater experience. The speakers are strategically placed in the room to bring the sound all around you like you experience at the movie theater. It's like ear candy.

A superior product for a fine price

The Bottom Line: If you need quality audio for your home theater and you do not have crazy amounts of money to spend for a custom setup, this is a great choice.
Review: Home-Theater-In-A-Box (HTIB) systems are quite popular these days. They run the gamut from a $160 RCA from Wal-Mart to systems costing thousands of dollars from a specialty Home Theater store.

The Bottom Line: Get this system. it has all the inputs you'll ever need. and It has 7.1 surround for future audio content
Review: Purchased this surround sound early Jan 08' and been loving it ever since. This is truley the best surround sound system i've ever heard. Its nice, big, and sturdy.

This is like the first home theater in a box that doesnt have a dvd player...
