The Bottom Line: If you are interested in Laura Ingalls Wilder, this is worth reading through - just don't expect it to live up to her stories.

The Bottom Line: This is a fast read of how the Wilder family traveled from South Dakota to Missouri in 1894 and provides a glimpse into that life and Laura's writing skills.
Review: Through the years, I have read several times about the theory that Laura Ingalls Wilder had a ghost-writer on her Little House books, her daughter Rose. In On The Way Home parts of the book were written by Rose, and parts were taken from a diary...
