The Wire Speed Local Bridge 16/4 is a high-performance, two-port, Token-Ring source-routing bridge. The forwarding rate of the local bridge is very close to wire speed for frame sizes larger than 256 bytes. For frame sizes of 28 bytes, the Wire Speed Local Bridge will forward at a blistering rate of 27,000+ frames per second. ??The Wire Speed Local Bridge 16/4 supports STP and UTP, and is 19 rack-mountable. The bridge is equipped with a 2 x 16 character display, which allows display of frames forwarded in both directions. In the case of an error, detailed information of the error situation is displayed.
