NextarX4-T, Low quality data, updates not available

Pros: Low cost, easy to use

Cons: Low quality antiquated data, no upgrades available

The Bottom Line: Nextar and all GPS producers should state the lineage of the data on their units and make available at no charge the most current data to their new customers.

Review: After working with high end GPS units for six years, using the Nextar X4-T was my first exposure to a consumer grade product. While this unit is very easy to use out of the box, the accuracy of the vector data and the quality of its supporting database ...
