Players can select four quick offensive tactics to call at anytime that include crashing the net for rebound opportunities and screening the goalie, which positions a player to specifically impede the netminder’s vision.

Decent Launch Title, Discount Price

The Bottom Line: A great game for the price, a great looking sports game that's great for 4-player multiplayer action.
Review: By now, this early entry in the Xbox 360 library can be found at a very low price. I personally found it for $25, so it is miles below the average 360 title in terms of price.

Here's my review of NHL 2k6 for the Xbox 360. This was the first Hockey Sim for the 360 and it made a great impression. The gameplay and controls are fantastic, as are the graphics. The best part about this game is the introduction of Crease Control where you actually get to play as goalie This is my favorite part because i always love playing as goalie in real life. Great game, Great Hockey Sim. A Bit dated but keeps the NHL 2K Series with a good name. 5 Out of 5
