The MultiMux MMH-Series statistical multiplexer consolidates up to eight data channels for transmission over one synchronous or asynchronous analog, ISDN or digital line. This multiplexer has a solid reputation as a reliable multi-user solution and is ideal for small to midsize companies that want to connect remote terminals and PCs to a central site legacy system.??The MultiMux is a statistical time division multiplexer. It aggregates bandwidth allowing active users to share all of the available bandwidth, unlike frequency and time division multiplexers. Frequency and time division multiplexers dedicate a portion of the bandwidth to each user. So even when a channel is active, the bandwidth cannot be used by others. Asynchronous devices gain improved accuracy when connected to MultiMux. Features supported by MultiMux include buffering, flow control, and pacing features.
