Good set of features for a low-end 1-watt radio

Pros: Rugged, easy to learn and use, and full-featured for its class. Good interference control.

Cons: A few controls could have been more intuitive

The Bottom Line: Well engineered, with good handling of interference, though the features that most set it apart from competing low-end units generally work best with other Motorola units with the same feature.

Review: Supports both (0.5 watt) FRS and 1-watt GMRS. Interference eliminator codes are a nice feature. With 38 per channel, pick one combo and you're unlikely to hear anyone else's conversation (though they may hear yours). Noise filter worked much ...

Pros: Less than $50/pair (w/700mAh NiMh/charger), Resonable sensitivity and voice reproduction, QuietTalk, Accepts AA batteries.

Cons: Not sturdy/splash-proof like T5500/T62XX, No VOX, User Manual doesn't provide correct info.
