The Bottom Line: Motorola's MD7161-2 cordless phone was one of my best purchases of 2006. Clear calls, easy recharge, easy to use features.

The Bottom Line: Avoid it unless you don't need great sound quality, a good answering machine or long battery life.
Review: We bought this phone system because it seemed to have all the basic features we wanted: Multiple wireless handsets, answering system, caller ID, shared phonebook, etc. We also figured Motorola was a brand name that had been in cell phone technology...
