In the early '80s David left that band to Jad, who continued to lead it through various personnel changes over the years. They reunited a couple years earlier for their BEST FRIENDS album. MONSTER SONGS FOR CHILDREN presents 26 monsters songs, in alphabetical order--from "Abominable Snowman" to "Zombie." The selections are each introduced by David's young son, Robinson. These are quiet songs with minimal accompaniment by the Fair Brothers and a few old friends including Mark Jickling (an early Half Japanese member) and Charles Brohawn (from The Tinklers). This is a nice folksy introduction to these American originals.
