Product Description

 
The Eclipse is available in three models: RS, GS, and GT. Standard equipment for the RS includes air conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, power door locks, a tilt steering wheel, and an AM/FM stereo with CD. The GS and GT are equipped with a rear stabilizer bar, a leather wrapped steering wheel, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and power windows. The four-speed automatic transmission is optional with all models. Optional equipment for the GS includes the GS Sun and Sound Package. Optional equipment for the GT includes the GT Sun and Sound Package, GT Premium Package, and GT Sun, Sound, and Leather Package. The GT Sun, Sound, and Leather Package comes equipped with a Mitsubishi/Infinity AM/FM CD player, a power sunroof, and leather seats.

Riding the Spyder!

The Bottom Line: It has the power, looks and handles great, it is a nice sports car.
Review: My friend bought this beauty (GT model) a couple of months ago and the total cost with every thing on it came to $30,317.00. This is for the Convertible 2-door, V6 with the premium package, leather seats and an automatic transmission.

2001 Eclipse GT

The Bottom Line: Driving excitement? You betcha! While Mitsubishi's track record on repairs isn't the best, make sure to take the optional insurance out that will extend your warranty.
Review: The 2001 Eclipse had it's body redesigned in 2000 by the Mitsubishi Team, saying goodbye forever to the overly rounded rear end, Eagle/Talon twin. What results is a sleeker, futuristic look that provides a big bang for the buck.

Sporty, speedy car
