Complementing the transition from analog to digital TV broadcasting, Mitsubishi offers new HDTV in its most affordable integrated widescreen series. WS-48511 integrated HDTV is much easier to use than set-top receivers. It has IEEE 1394 (FireWire®) digital home networking interfaces, so it can connect with the emerging category of IEEE 1394-equipped audio/video devices, such as D-VHS VCRs, hard disk drive video recorders and amplifiers. And to make all of this capability easy to use, WS-48511 includes NetCommand®, a Mitsubishi exclusive.

The Bottom Line: As long as your not buying more TV than you need or can understand, this is an excellent set. Bottom line, the picture is GREAT!

The Bottom Line: finally an all in one solution to hdtv -it's ready out of the box. Perfect size for an apartment, not obnoxious but really delivers the big screen movie impact.
Review: i spent a lot of time researching this purchase because I know how much is going on right now with tv's and their signals. So, I bought this tv knowing it would take me into the future and last me for a good 10-15 years.
