The new DiMAGE G400 is a high-performance digital camera housed in a slim, stylish body. This 4.0 megapixel camera creates beautiful images at the touch of a button. In spite of its size, the DiMAGE G400 has powerful imaging tools and a dual memory-card slot. The DiMAGE G400 has a newly designed signal-processing engine with a 0.7 second startup time. You can turn the camera on, focus, set the exposure, capture an image, and turn the camera off in 1.5 seconds. It takes less than a second from turning the camera on to being ready to capture a sharp, well-exposed image.

The Go Anywhere Camera With Class

The Bottom Line: This is a neat looking, compact "go anywhere" camera that takes great pictures. Simple to use when on fully automatic or choose all the manual settings you can think of.
Review: I wanted a credit card camera like the 3 MP Minolta Dimage Xt, which was shown to me by a friend at a party. I was very impressed by its James Bond Mr. Q size and attractive casing. Nevertheless I was dissuaded from buying it because of an Internet...

The Bottom Line: Great for fast shooting with super fast turn on time, but ergonomics and user interface make it harder on beginners to take full advantage-
Review: The Minolta G400 caught my attention primarily because of its reputation for very fast turn-on to shooting readiness. From the time you slide open the cover to when you can frame the shot, it's ready to go.

Small, powerful, and OH-SO-STYLISH!

The Bottom Line: Go for it. It's cheap, takes amazing pictures, comes from a great manufacturer, and basically easy to operate. You will continue to smile after the picture is taken.
