Great Starter Telescope

Pros: Great price, works as advertised, computer points out everything worth looking at.

Cons: Noisy drive motors

The Bottom Line: Buy this telescope! Price is right, Meade is a very reputable company, and for a first telescope, it has all the bells and whistles.

Review: I jumped at the chance to get this 'scope at Sam's for $198, and have found it elsewhere on-line for as low as $149. But I have nothing but praise for the DS 2114 since I put it together and set it up in my driveway. I pointed in in a general "North" ...
