This dishwasher is QUIET

The Bottom Line: Good buy for a large capacity ss tub and exterior dishwasher that runs very quietly, many other comparible models were more money and didn't have the 3 level cleaning

Highly Recommend -overall cleaning performance and loads of features

The Bottom Line: Loads and cleans very well. Very quiet with hidden controls and clean looking front. Lots of great features that others did not have including stainless interior. No regrets.
Review: My model is a MDB8951-AWQ so I do not know what the difference is between it and an AWS except perhaps one less wash cycle? I love the removable, adjustable top rack and have used it several times to wash huge pots. A big plus is that cookie sheets...

The Bottom Line: Would never purchase Maytag products again, I feel they just don't have what it takes in their Customer Service
Review: On June 19,2006 after much deliberation we purchased this dishwasher for $1300. I found it did everything and some. The other day we noticed that when is starts up it makes a very loud grinding sound. The noise does go away after about 15 minutes...
