Warranty is a joke, not made or serviced by Maytag

The Bottom Line: Unit is being sold using Maytag's service and reputation even though it is not made or serviced by Maytag. Fedders customer service is really bad. Avoid this brand.
Review: I purchased a Maytag 10,000 BTU air conditioner that failed the start of the second season I used it. I took it to my local Maytag dealer that is very near my home.
