The Bottom Line: If you need to transfer and/or backup large files, or would like to consolidate media files, then go with a Maxtor.

The Bottom Line: Updated: It seemed like a great buy but the drive has known problems, mainboard will eventually fail. Not recommended unless you like voiding warranty to recover data.
