After renting a room in a spooky old house, graduate student Walter Gilman finds that his new home proves quite distracting to his studies. While slaving away at his thesis, Walter is haunted by nightmarish images of a rat creature with a human face, and a female demon asking him for blood.

Dreams in the Witch House.

The Bottom Line: This is a masterpiece of horror. It will creep you out, especially the end.
Review: I adore the works of H.P. Lovecraft. His cycle of stories about otherworldly terrors impinging on our own world send chills up and down my spine, even today.

I am not, however, a huge fan of the adaptations of his works. So rarely does...

The Bottom Line: Suspenseful and scary this is one of the best Masters of Horror. Good acting, good story and good setting all make this a movie you won't forget.
