Mag-Tek RS-232 Swipe Reader interfaces easily with PCs or ASCII terminals with RS-232 ports. Extended card path ensures reliable card reading. It reads up to three tracks of card data. Messages are checked using parity and LRC prior to transferring to host. Mag-Tek RS-232 Swipe Reader features bi-directional read capability. LED indicator provides continuous status of the reader's operation. The mode of operation (buffered or unbuffered) baud rate, RS-232 communication parameters, and user protocol can be set through the switch block settings. Minimize
