Wow... Best GPS Yet

Pros: Bluetooth, speaks the street names, very light and thin, many pre-loaded maps

Cons: won't sync cell phone contacts, robotic female voice and no option for male voice

The Bottom Line: I was happy with my Roadmate 760 - the Maestro 4040 blows it away with all the new features

Excellent navigation system

Pros: Fairly easy to use, functions as expected.

Cons: Out of box experience (no manual). Some features/commands are not intuitive.

The Bottom Line: This GPS unit does what I expect it to do, which is to make solo navigation easier.

Review: I wanted a GPS unit because I travel alone and find it hard to navigate with a paper map. My first experience with GPS was with a Hertz rental car that had a Magellan GPS unit (Hertz Neverlost) and it was fantastic. I selected the Magellan Maestro 4050 ...
