Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary: She could have learned a lot from Buffy Summers

The Bottom Line: Read it with a grain of salt. I'd rather watch Buffy, myself, than read this again.

Underappreciated Social Critique.

The Bottom Line: A worthwhile read. Not one of my favorite books, but Flaubert gives us alot to think about.
Review: For those of you that think Madame Bovary is just a book about a woman and her failedsexual fantasies, you are missing an important part of the work.
