The Mace DVR-1600HP is a Linux based, full featured digital video recorder designed for performance and reliability.Switching between cameras can be done manually or by programming the unit to auto switch at regular intervals or when motion is detected.The unit is capable of 7 FPS recording speeds per channel and uses the MPEG-4 codec along with a number of compression schemes to achieve high quality images while using minimal hard drive space.The DVR features a user-friendly on-screen display offering quick and easy setup and operation. Search and playback is also simple with front panel VCR-like controls offering fast and slow playback in multiple speeds. All DVR controls can be accessed from a distance using the supplied remote control.
