The Lotus Elise will be offered in the United States for the first time. The Elise features a composite body on an aluminum chassis and weighs in at a mere 1950 pounds. The Toyota 1.8-liter four cylinder offers 190hp coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. Lotus claims 0-60 times well under 5 seconds.

Its a street legal racecar!!!

The Bottom Line: The elise is not a luxury sports car; its a race car. It is engineered from top to bottom for performance and it delivers flawlessly!
Review: I had been waiting for the Elise to arrive in the US for 6 years now and its been worth the wait... The elise is not just a sports car, it is a race car. When i say "race car" i mean that you can literally drive it to the track and then race it...
