A very popular wide-angle lens that is often used for reportage photography in confined locations, but which is also excellent for architectural and landscape photography. Its outstanding characteristics are the good contrast and detail rendition. Starting with this focal length, there is a brightline frame in the viewfinder of the Leica M6 for checking the field of view (with the Leica M6 TTL 0.85, an accessory brilliant viewfinder #12009 is required for this purpose).
