The d2 Blu-ray Drive from LaCie is an external Blu-ray disc burner that can also burn and read DVD and CD discs. It connects to your computer via either the FireWire-400 or USB 2.0 interfaces. The drive allows you to write data to single-layer and dual-layer Blu-ray discs, which can hold up to 50GB of data--more than 10 times that of a standard DVD-R.
