The Bottom Line: LG products are worth a look. All are of very good to excellent quality and reliability. If you can find this a/c unit. Buy it.

Review: I bought this thing to cool a small bedroom. I picked it because Consumer Reports said it was quiet (so much for them!). The fan alone is indeed quiet. Then BOOM here comes the vibrating low pulsing grind of the compressor. Try sleeping in a room...
