The Bottom Line: If you need a compact, lightweight, versatile, 7.1MP digital camera, loaded with features, look no further then the Kodak EasyShare Z-712IS.
Review: I loathe computer class; sounds funny coming from a self-avowed computer geek and IT Professional, but there is the bare naked truth. But occasionally I walk away from a course with more than just cursory knowledge of this or that new software...

The Bottom Line: I recommend this for anyone who is not a professional but wants more power than just a simple camera.
Review: Kodak cameras have always impressed me. They offer much more of a camera than anybody else does at the same price point. The Z712IS is no exception.

We were initially pleased with our new Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS 7.1MP Digital Camera. 249.00 at Best Buy. PROS: easy to use, no trouble figuring out the basic features. Great photos Amazing zoom. CONS: update - many times there is scratchy sound on the audio on the video recorder. You must order the accessories online at Kodak. We ordered a 39.00 AC adapter for this camera. It is a highly -inferior unit - too short, not functional, a big hassle to use. It stopped working after 6 weeks. Also, I wish Kodak would include a complete instruction manual with this camera showing advanced features instead of making us go to their site and hunt around to access this information. Digital Cameras, Electronics. Kodak does have good customer service, though. They seem to care about their customers.
