The Kitchenaid KIRD861HSS 36-Inch Retractable Downdraft Vent with Interior Power System is a well-functioning vent system. It uses a powerful 600 CFM Internal Blower to help quickly clear cooking smoke and odors over your cooking range. This slide-out unit fits flush to your cooking range and can be pulled out easily when needed. The retractable system has an automatic shut-off feature and recedes into the countertop when not in use. The Aluminum Grease Filters with Safety Microswitches are washable and this unit also has a Pop-Up Delay for easy cleaning.
