The wired control allows for easy adjustment of level and crossover settings, and there is even a phase switch to help match the sub to your main speakers. You can add the Kenwood KSC-SW1 to any factory car stereo for a huge improvement in bass response, or use it to augment the bass in your aftermarket system. Installation is clean and straightforward, thanks to line or speaker level inputs, easy pre-wired connectors, and horizontal/vertical mounting hardware. Kidney stones? No problem!

Pros: space efficient, inexpensive, flexible configuration, wired remote control

Cons: cannot shatter windows

The Bottom Line: If you are considering enhance the bass of your stereo in a smaller vehicle, the KSC-SW1 is definitely worth a look.

Perfect for it's niche

Pros: Small with big sound.

Cons: Should work without the wired remote.

The Bottom Line: Perfect if you can't afford any loss of space.
