The KDC-MP235 plays MP3 and WMA files, has CD changer controls, and includes Kenwood's exclusive System Q equalizer with 5 factory presets. Proprietary Supreme signal processing enhances the sound quality of compressed music files by restoring lost high frequencies. The KDC-MP235 is also iPod interface, satellite radio, and HD Radio ready for even more listening choices. The 14-segment FL (fluorescent) display shows you all the important operating functions, and is easy on the eyes with its 8-digit scrolling text readout. Operation is simple with the rotary encoder knob and jog control button. The CD section features scan, random, and repeat functions, as well as quad 1-bit D/A converters for unparalleled CD reproduction. Other features include a switchable rear/non-fading preamp output with crossover for adding an amplifier, detachable faceplate, loudness control, high power amplifier, and one-touch mute function.
