KARAOKE REVOLUTION has everything the Playstation version had plus more. Players aren’t even limited by the song list thanks to Xbox Live support. KARAOKE REVOLUTION turns your living room into a karaoke bar complete with crowd, music critics, and over 70 songs. The game judges singers on timing and pitch. You don’t have to read music, though; the height and length of a line indicate how high to sing and how long to hold each note. A practice mode will get even the most musically-challenged singer up to speed quickly. Several different modes are available. In arcade mode, you select three songs to sing in an attempt to get the highest score possible. Showtime mode sends you down the path of a pop star, asking you to sing certain songs in increasingly bigger venues, eventually leading to a full-blow concert. For a party, the Karaoke Competition mode is available. Up to eight players can compete in a tournament to see who the next neighborhood idol is.
