Definitely a Camera for Indy Movie-Makers

The Bottom Line: At the moment this is THE camera to use if you're a low-budget filmmaker. Just don't expect CineAlta/Viper results from it.
Review: I was excited to get my hands on the HD100. I have used several prosumer-level JVC cameras in the past (X2, DV500, DV5000) and I wanted to see what JVC could do with the new HDV format. I can honestly say that they have done quite well.

Excellent prosumer camera with pro features & feel

The Bottom Line: Great option for anyone shooting dv and wanting an affordable HD option. Pro look and feel makes for an easy transition for those used to professional cameras and formats.

Review: its a bad camera for professional user, long hours batteries are not available, once you put on the shoulder it pulls you down because the lens is longer than body and battery is too small for this kind of camera, sound cuts automatically while...
