Easy operation and great looks are what this new deck is all about. The JVC KD-G310 features a gorgeous multi-color LCD panel and full detachable faceplate. Plus, theres MP3 / WMA file playback and full CD-R/CD-RW compatibility. JVCs rotary encoder multi-control knob provides instant control over a variety of user settings including sound levels and clock adjustments. The Custom Equalizer (cEQ) allows you to apply a customized EQ setting to your favorite tunes. Exclusive 1-bit digital-to-analog converter has full 24-bit resolution for flawless CD playback. With a preamp output, Sirius satellite tuner control, and CD/MP3 changer control, there are plenty of upgrade options. Other features include HS-II tuner, Direct Track Access, CD-Text display, and built-in high power amplifier.

Good value, very powerful output

The Bottom Line: If you have a good speaker setup you should get this. Otherwise know that it is very powerful and you will want to look into getting better speakers.
Review: Just got this last week. This replaced a Sony MP3 CD unit I had in my car that broke.

The sound quality is outstanding. It's almost TOO powerful. I have a Subaru Legacy with stock speakers; they're pretty bad, but my previous Sony wasn't...

Solid Head Unit

The Bottom Line: I DO NOT recommend this unit for the simple reason that it doesn't have an easy way to connect an iPod. Look for a unit with the line-in option.
Review: I when I bought this head unit i was looking for a relatively cheap option that would play cds. Until that point i was using the stock tape deck, the car is a 1994 camaro, and a sony walkman cd player with a car-kit. Obviously, an upgrade was needed...
