OK for the COST

The Bottom Line: For $50 buck, they are pretty good. They ain't Bose good, but they ain't $300.
Review: I got the JBL Reference 510 Active Noise reduction headphones at Costco using a $50 off coupon which made the final cost $49. To compare these headphones with Bose or Stienhouser noise reduction headphones would be unfair since those headphones...

Ouch! . . . and you'll NEED an extension cord!

The Bottom Line: Strictly on performance, they are good, but in the presence of an alternative with adequate cord, and no unnecessary clip-on unit, they cannot in good conscience be recommended.
Review: I saw both the 410 and 510 Reference Series by JBL for the same price and thought, well maybe the 510 has something more to offer. The specs of the 510 match almost exactly those of the REF410BKH, with the exception of (i) the in-line volume...
