Create, edit and share customized DVDs and CDs with friends and family using the PX-716A Internal Double Layer Combo Drive from Plextor®. The drive features write speeds of up to 16X for DVD discs and 48X for CDs. You can also rewrite DVD+RW discs at 8X, DVD-RW discs at 4X and CD-RW discs at 24X speeds. In addition, it supports DVD+R Double Layer (DL) speeds of up to 6X - allowing you to record up to 4 hours of high-quality MPEG-2/DVD video on an 8.5 GB disc. The drive boasts Intelligent Recording technology that enables high-quality recording at optimum speeds using a variety of media. The incorporated Buffer Underrun Protection technology prevents buffer underrun errors for smooth, hassle-free burns. With EIDE/ATAPI interface, the PX-716A offers data transfer rates of up to 66 MBps.
