Built to withstand the harshest marine environments ensuring years of trouble-free operation, the M422 is built to IPX7 submersible waterproof standards and includes a built-in SC-101 DSC enabling connection to onboard GPS receivers. Once connected, position send and request data can be displayed on the huge, sunlight-viewable LCD display. A built-in 12-watt hailer with unique "broadcast receive audio" enables you to go up to the bow and still monitor the M422 by amplifying receiver transmissions. Dual watch, tri-watch, and multiple scan modes including Icom's exclusive "Tag" scan for quick memory channel entries. Measures 6.4"W x 3.7"H x 5.5"D.
