Compatible with Sound-Blaster-type PC Sound Cards which use the PC's joystick out for MIDI. This 18 Hosa cable provides MIDI in and out as well as a joystick thru connector, so you won't have to disconnect your game controller when connected for MIDI. The MIDI connectors on the SBC-195 are female, so you must add two standard MIDI cables of the appropriate length in order to complete your connections. This is better than other products you may have seen that lock you into a single length or force you to connect MIDI couplers in order to use cables longer than the one they provide.
