The Bottom Line: If this had changed the humidity in my room, I would have loved it! Unfortunately, it didn't make a difference.

The Holmes Ultrasonic Humidifier has been great during the winter months.

We live in a northern climate with cold, dry winters. When we run the heat all day every day, the humidity drops very low. This causes discomfort as well as a lot of static electricity in the house. This humidifier is great for a medium size room. We use it in our bedroom to maintain a proper humidity during the winter. It's extremely quiet and typically will last several days before it will need to be refilled. It is ultrasonic so it doesn't need any filters which is a nice feature. Pros: Quiet, Last a long time on a fill up of water Cons: Leaks out the back when moved with water in it
