After 3 of these, I am switching to Plasma

The Bottom Line: Stay away from this HDTV until Hitachi fixes their problems.
Review: I had great expectations when I bought this rear projection LCD HDTV in November 2004. In early November I took delivery of this set that was manufactured in October 2004.

Just bought 50VS810

The Bottom Line: The TV has a great SD Picture and looks like a plasma from the front.
Review: When I started looking for a big TV, I realized that the majority of my viewing for the next few years would be DVDs and SD TV. I ruled out a plasma (my first choice-Panasonic was the best)because my kids wanted a TV that they could play video games...

The Bottom Line: Very good projection TV. It will remain competent until the time when HDTV PDP or LCD become cheaper than projection TV.
Review: I bought this 50" ULTRAVISION 50VS810 on 12/7/2005. I have dreamed of plasma TV but I made practical choice. I have used it for one and a half month now.
